Palmer's Camp Out 2008

Here we are at Timbercreek Campground. Catlin, Angie, Carter, Kaylie, Dad, Braylin, & Rayce. Mom wasn't there cuz there wasn't a bathroom close enough

This is at Barney Hot Springs looking at Bell Mountain. It's really cool but didn't really look like a bell. Here is Rayce going into a deeper hole than me. I wasn't as brave as him to go that deep. We were trying to touch a branch but I only went in up to my ribs.
I'm fishing in Bear Creek. I was casting out into this really deep hole. We thought there was a big one in there. It was my turn to catch a fish so I hoped I had luck. Finally I caught a fish. It tugged really hard, but when I reeled it in it was tiny, but better than nothing. We're at Bear Creek walking in the creek of course. Rayce was braver. He went in deeper. Dad says that some of the holes are over our head. It was freezing. One time when I was there I tripped then got used to the water so I went in deeper than I went before. We finally got to Barney Hot Springs. It felt like taking a bath cuz it was so warm. When we got onto the logs that were connected we jumped in at the same time. Dad tried to get a picture of us in midair, but he failed his task!We were at Barney Hot Springs and we were about to get in the water and Rayce said "There's a frog." We both tried to catch it. Finally, Rayce caught it and I put it on my shoulder and said, "Dad look, I have a parrot." And of course, Rayce put it on his head so he could swim across the water. We put the frog on a log so we could log race, but Rayce won because he had the bigger log.

New Puppy

Dad just gave our new puppy a bath and her towel was soaking wet, so I put her in this nice warm blanket because she was cold. When she's wound up she chews on anything in her path or she chews on your finger. The other morning we put her outside and she managed to climb up the stair on our back deck. I heard her barking so I went to the backdoor and two seconds later she fell off onto the deck below. I ran to her as fast as I could. I went inside to tell Dad and when he looked at her she had a tiny bit of blood on her leg, but it turns out she just bit her tonge and she's just fine.
